Last updated : 4 November 2026
The Togolese government has launched online requests for civil-status record copies on the national Services publics platform. It is live in five pilot communes, including Lacs 1 (Aného). It lets you request copies of birth, marriage or death certificates and track the file online.
- The request may be made by the holder, ascendants, descendants or the legal representative.
- The applicant must be an adult or represented by a legal guardian.
- The record must have been registered at a Togolese civil-status centre or a Togolese diplomatic mission.
- Three document types: extract, full copy, duplicate (replacing a lost or damaged original). Extracts and full copies are valid for three to six months.
